Thank you Green Sector for this party. I sure had a good time. Such happiness at times was almost overwhelming. What a fun and happy way to bring in the new year. All the smiles. This is the first time I have gone to a gathering that was organized for this reason, but a New Year's party made it even better. A happy group we were. One of my favorite days of the year is New Year's Day, and this was a great way to start the year for me. It was different to do this than what I have done for the last twenty-eight years in a row, so it had some novelty for me too besides the fact of being there to be with everyone. :) It was really great to be with so many of the people I had met and become friends with just this last year at various gatherings. I am looking forward to 2009 and future gatherings.

  • Twas a beautiful sunrise........too bad the po-po couldn't just leave us alone in peace.............

    fun party tho'......... :))
    • yeah it's funny how the police still couldn't break our spirit isn't it? :)
      • I'd rather the police didn't come to the parties, but if they are going to come they should leave the music alone and get on the floor and dance a bit with us.

Having the music stop from 4:30 AM to 5:30 AM and then start up again was different. I sure was glad when it did start up again. They stopped it right as Willy was pushing the button to play his very first track of the night. Their return around 8 AM to stop it completely made me sad as I was looking forward to Chadwick and Brad before I had to leave for the desert at 11 AM.

That sure is a great location, with the trees and levels and stuff. Too bad it is where someone likes to call the cops on New Year's Day. That was the quietest gathering I have ever attended. At times I had to lower my voice so I could hear the music!
        • and no drums, no expressing ourselves musically at all geeeeez i say to the cops maybe if we flashed wods of money they would have just turned around or started dancing.........quiet wasnt the word i herd crikets man but i always love the presence of you all
sunset was beautiful with the ocean of clouds we were above the view and all the people i love surrounding me great way to kick it in minus the piggys wagging thier badges in our faces either way lets dance again and again LOVE
          • Always love and always beautiful... Thank you all of my wonderful family and as well to the Hootenanny/ Greentruck Family for letting us enjoy their space. After all they are the ones who really had to deal with the cop/ neighbor drama, along with one of our lovelies at the door. It was an amazing location with amazing people as always and then some. It was perfect to be surrounded by so many families of mine while bringing in the new year. Thank you everyone! especially Trevor, Andrew and the Hootenanny home ' ) LOVE

All the best to us all in 2009! Keep smiling, keep flying, keep shining and always LOVE ; p
